#29340, "Ludwigia"

For a long time I've wondered what was the name of the aquatic plant that chokes the shorelines of the Windsor ponds and a few other ponds around town.
It's called "Ludwigia" or "Water Primrose". It's non-native and got started from someone dumping their fish tank into a creek. Now it's plugged the Laguna De Santa Rosa and we're spending $1.5 million to poison and remove it.

Be sure to clean your kickboats and floattubes after fishing. Don't spread this stuff around.
