IDEA: No Spring Lake now, but, gotta get on the water this weekend. Lucky for me I have no plans for either Saturday or Sunday now.

I propose the idea of a Turkey Shoot from the Lake Sonoma Marina Sunday! Six hours, five fish, most weight. SCBBBC Rules. Same entry amounts as the Spring Lake Tournament would have been (would need help figuring out the payouts)???

Why the Marina? I'm not walking the public ramp, launch fee same as most places, parking lot possibly safer, like the launch ramp, access to the dam with big smallies lately, different than Yorte, surprise location most may not get advantage of pre-fishing! Plus, I like Lake Sonoma :-)

I'd be up to have a turkey shoot at the lake sonoma marina. Saturday or sunday would be fine for me. If it is held their what time is check in and what time is way in.

I`d be up for sunday since spring is off.I`m visiting family in santa rosa sat. or I`d do that turkey shoot too.I also like the dam area at sonoma.Hope it can happen,Mike.

id fish it sunday evening. like usual its going to be crazy around that area on a summer weekend in the morning and afternoon, not the place u will want to be on a float tube or kickboat.

I agree Carson...Im up for fishing the dam area Sun evening/night. I get off work @ 530 pm. I can be at the dam by about 630. Fish till whenever if you guys are interested in that.

well im still down for a sunday evening sonoma turkey shoot, from what i hear me, kevin nunez, michael nunez, deacon and chris, thats already enough to get this thing going, im up for it.

Gate will not be open till 7:00 am, and your gonna make them real happy with us if bunches show up, fish, then weight in togehter as a group. Kind of sounds like a Tournament without a permit dosen't it? Just my six cents.

I know I said that, but it's Saturday, not Sunday when the other event is going on. People shot down the day time idea at Lake Sonoma Marina because of the crazy skiers and boaters, so what's left? Windsor get's hit harder than Spring Lake I think lately.

What about Lake Berryessa, possibly pre-fish Blue Lakes? Yorte Creek was great last weekend? Then there is the Delta, Beacon Harbor, Whites Slough? Come on VP, where are you gonna wet your line? I will come out and just hang out, fish and have fun, no turkey shoot.

JUST HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT NOW OR I AM GONNA GO CRAZY. GOTTA GET ON THE WATER!

After Ozzfest on Saturday, I can sleep in now on Sunday. Im not sure what time I'll be able to get out on the water. I might even just spend some quality time with the little lady. I have been on the road or at Spring Lake prefishing so much, I just might give it a break. Don't beat it up to much this wekend. Remember we all have to go there again in a week or two. At least don't beat my fish up too much
