I am trying to get back. I am wanting to fish on new years day anyone else? I will be in a Kayak so I hope that is cool. I am also 48 so not quite as tough as the young guys, but close:-)

Morning Jack,

BNT met last night to discuss some changes and the 09 tournamnet schedule. I don't want to post a lot of details as I am sure that the club president will be doing so but:

- kayaks are allowed assuming you can rig an acceptable live well on it.

- there is only going to be one circuit/region this year which will be a mix of lake and delta tournaments.

- I'm 49 and am the second oldest (I think) fisherman in the club. You should be fine.

I like the new rule allowing fish over twelve pounds. Letting those big ones go always sucked.
