The 4th stop on the 2014 BnT tournament trail takes us to Middle River on Sunday the 18th of May.
Check In From 5:00 to 5:20 Launch at safe light.
Everyone must have on a visible white light on from launch time until sunrise. Be sure to have your P.F.D Make sure your livewells's are fully functional , having a livewell treatment such as Rejuvenate and ice to cool the water will help keep your catch safe.
<EDIT> Parking/launching For anyone who hasn't been to MR in a while the little beach we used to launch from is no longer there, it is a rip-rap wall now. You young brave souls can still use it if you like. For the rest of us old dudes we can launch at the up-stream side of the pullout. There is a trail right next to the road sign. When parking in the morning leave some space in this area so guys can stage their boats on the side of the road and get to and from the water. If we have a large turnout parking may get tight, so park smart :+

Looks like i'll be there! Had a good dayon the river yesterday despite the wind! I hopped the barrier at old river and got on some good fish and lost a couple donkeys!I found a new area that had some beds and I caught them on blades, crankbaits and and a couple senko fish and jig fish. It's going to be a great year! swampy

I'm in. However, I've never been there before. Maybe a print screen shot of the location, along with a marker/s of areas described would help. Please feel free to email me.

Take Tracy Blvd to Clifton Court road.Turn onto Cal Pack Rd from Clifton Court and follow it to the levee. Continue on until you reach the sharp corner at the end of Victoria canal right across the river from the Union Point bridge and you are there.
