Sorry for the late report guys. I caught my fish on a craw colored crankbait and a punch setup. Crank fish were on rock with some grass and wood mixed in, I caught them 3-6ft of water on the bottom of the out going tide first couple of hours in the morning and then 1-2 hours after the tide started coming in. Punch fish where caught in grass mats on flats.
Congrats to the all the money winners! See you all at the open.

Here is my story... I went straight to the barrier and started fishing a frog. Got 2 fish in the first half dozen casts, but only one went in the livewell at just over 13 inches. I continued all morning with the frog, swimbait, blade, and buzzbait for 3 smallish fish. Right at the bottom of the tide I got my kicker at 7.03lbs when it ate the buzzbait :+ I finally filled my limit with a 2.5# blade fish just before noon.
The rest of the day was a grind, flippin a beaver, to cull the two 13 inchers I had and that was it. 3rd place and big fish!
