Congrats to Jay Bryant for winning the Turkey Shoot yesterday @ Fountaingrove. Jay had 5-fish for the victory. Todd Iwamoto was 2nd with 5 fish, while Deren Kozenko had the big fish of the day (2.31 lbs). Seven anglers participated.

Seven brave souls battled the cold December weather and fished Fountaingrove for a 2001 final fun tourney. Jay Bryant, former president, held the event and traveled from Sacramento to fish and win the event! Jay came in with five fish for 9.41 lbs., Todd Iwamoto also caught five for a total of 8.18 lbs taking second, Scott Hupp finished third (3 fish for 4.86 lbs), Deren Kozenko fourth and big fish of the day at 2.31 lbs, Mike Bogges fifth, Rich Caro sixth and Bill Sweatt seventh.
The bite was tough to say the least with only a total of 18 fish brought to the scales. Fish were caught on crankbaits, jig n’ pigs, worms, senkos and spinnerbaits.

Bill Sweatt would have came in 6th place if he didn't go to McDonalds. I saw his fish and it was a tat bigger than mine.
