Congratulations to Jeff Andress, who won our tournie @ Spring Lake today with a 5-fish limit for about 16 lbs. Binh Phi was 2nd with 4 fish for about 14 lbs, including the big fish of the day of 7.99 lbs. Todd Iwamoto finished 3rd with a solid 5-fish limit of about 10 1/2 lbs. Others who finished in the winners' circle were myself, Scott Hupp (he had 2nd big fish of 7.95 lbs), Mike Tiernay, Kevin Marcheschi, Deren Kozenko & Jamie McTaggart. Congrats to all! A special tip of the cap to Jeff for his 1st individual tournie win, & to Binh Phi for his 1st big fish of a tournie. 28 anglers participated - another outstanding turnout. Thanks to everybody who fished. See you @ Clear Lake in May (& the May meeting).

this tourneys results jumped mine and jeff point so now were r in 4th place overall in points, i jumoed 3 posyions, and jeff jumped like 8 spots

Terrific limit on what turned out to be a relatively tough day! I think there was only two limits to be spoken of and Jeff actually could have filled almost two bags!
I'll try to post some pics as soon as I get them downloaded.
Mr. Smith - thought I was gonna see you there! If you would have made it we could have broken our single club tourney with 29 anglers! Oh, well, guess there's the September tourney! Clear Lake Open, here SCBBBC comes!

Thanks everyone. Finally got a day out fishing where my plan came together like i had hoped, It was great fishing with everyone, i had a great time. Nice day, weather was just right, and the fish were where i thought they would be. caught my three biggest first thing on flippin senkos from pretty far away from the tules. then another shortly after and another after that on a 3 inch baitfish imitation, I had my limit by around 8 or so i guess, then just culled a few small fish after that in the day fishing beds, at the end of the day i had a 4+ female off a bed up to the boat then it broke off, oh well. now a few more people know about my area. have to race some people over there next year. Thanks for posting those shots, Todd. Man, Binh's fish sure looked larger in person than it does in that photo.
Nice job by K-dog of gravy-training on Binh's fish, too.
