Overall visibility: The lenses reviewed are the Mossback green noctular lens. These lenses are designed and advertised specifically for sight fishing. The lenses overall have a bright green effect when you look through them, and the differentiation among green colors is excellent. Not all lakes and water conditions have an overall green hue when you look down through the water, but in cases where the water or lake bottom look green, this lens is really phenomenal. The ability to differentiate the outline of a fish with a green back over green weeds, can be critical when sight fishing. This lens will help you see those fish. In bright conditions when you are out on the water all day, this lens can be fatiguing on the eye. I find that my eyes will water a little more at the end of the day with this lens vs. a grey lens if it's really bright out. For ocean fishing I would not recommend this lens overall. For sight fishing however, it's great. I rate the overall visibility a 9.5.

Lens durability: For such a great lens visually, the durability of the lens leaves something to be desired. This lens scratches pretty easily. They come with a soft case, and I would recommend using it before you put the glasses in your glove box, tackle box, etc. The lenses are thin, which makes them light, but they have a pretty flimsy feel to them. I rate the lens durability a 5.

Frame durability: The frames, like the lenses, have a cheap feel to them. I don't know what the frames are made out of but the material is very light and fairly soft. This makes for a more comfortable pair of glasses, but I could see the frames breaking pretty easily. The overall construction of the glasses honestly feels like a pair you would buy at a convenience store for $10. I rate the frame durability a 6.

Wear-ability/Comfort: As mentioned above, the frames are very light on the Bat Eyes. They are comfortable to wear and fish great for all day trips. The top of the frame is vented to let air in and out, but I do find that they will fog up if I'm working up a sweat while kicking along in my float tube or (hopefully) fighting a big fish. This could vary from person to person due to the distance between your eye brows and the top of the frame. For me, that distance is very small, hence the occasional fogging up. Side coverage is decent but not great. The corners do wrap toward the back, but the sides of the frame are relatively narrow which can let some light in. The last thing I have to mention is the bat logo right between the eyes. When I'm fishing, I don't really care what I look like, but the bat in between the eyes rates as dorky in my book. I rate the Bat Eyes an 8 for wear-ability and comfort.
