The fun thing about surfing your way through eBay swimbait listing is that people are always mislabeling their stuff as 'swimbait' on purpose to try to get you to look at it. Well, sometimes it works on me. Like today when I clicked on a Lucky Craft Pointer 170 - jointed in a shad pattern. That's a neat bait. I've never seen it anyway (sorry if it's old hat and you heard about it on supersecretjerkbaits.com already :) ). Heh.
What else is cool. Matt's new 6 inch tournament series in the channel cat pattern. That's cool. Bass most definitely like to grind up the occasional small catfish. This could be one to try as a bed fishing lure in particular.
Kaenon sunglasses. I think the idea here is that you want to see bass at the lake but you might see girls on the drive home so you don't want to look like me with the Y-35 Kore's in size Large. Yeah you feel that right.
Lock-R-Bar for your trip to G-ville and your stay in Decatur. Don't feel bad, Redbud and Lower Lake are pretty haired at o-dark-thirty too. Just blast some Michael Franti and they'll think you're local. It could be as effective as that piece of steel.
Lastly, the Castaic Swimmin Cisco. If only to point out that giant rubber baits don't have to cost $40. I bet that thing swims too. I need to do a musky trip this year. Mark says Lake of the Woods is the place to be in summer so we'll go seek revenge for his windblown skunk fest in summer of aught 10. Or is that ought?
