I appreciate the instructions! I just got a "Fry's Special" scanner and have been driving myself crazy for the last 3 days figuring it out...I finally got it!!! I think I'm a member here (have password and everything)...would like to post a few pics. Thanks again for the info!...it looks very complete!

I can't find the attachment window to post pics, is my browser? IE6, maybe it's my eyes? Maybe it's a sinister plot from the Talibon?

I doubt the sinister plot theory...
I'm using IE 6 to post this message and when I click on
"Click here to choose your file"
It pops up a small browser window where I can upload the pictures.
Are you using straight IE6 just the browser, or are you using some AOL version that has IE6 as the browser?

#3676, "More Posting Questions Swimbait!!!"
In response to Reply # 3

I have been trying to post a pic for a long time and finally got one to post on my "Scanner Pic Test 2". Swimbait, I have a few questions though...1.) On my first try, I put the exact file/path name in front of the attachment# (step 6) so the pic would be on the same page as the story...for some reason this doesnt work. 2.)When I Preview before posting...the picture (or picture link) never comes up for me even though it worked on my "Scanner Pic Test 2" above. Thanks for the posting instructions again and if there are any more modifications/hints to them let us know!!

Close but not quite. Look at the end of the link you posted. It should end in .jpg or .gif not .html

catting binary files is cool :)
Sorry, bad unix humor.

Swimbait, I'll go the jpeg route, thanks for the tip! Todd, I think that seabass was around 35, proved to be the jackpot on the trip, funny thing was we were drinking beers, nobody had any cash for the galley tab (Remington forgot his wallet, didn't tell us till he ordered about 6 rounds!!), so we made a pact to catch the JP, this was when we were down quite a few sodas, had to go JP or we were filleting\washing dishes!
