Hey, What outfit did you go out with? Anglers Inn or El Salto pro bass tours? I just got back on the 15th of Novemeber from El Salto. I went out with Pro bass tours. I fished all three days with Don Iovino. Man we KILLED threm out there. I was watching the other out fitters and guides and they were having a tough time. Not us, Don and I put the hurt on those fish. Pro bass treated me good. I'll doing it again in May or April. The first day I posted a 13.9, 12.5, 11.6, 10.4, 10.2, 10.0, 10.9, 10.2, 10.4, 10.11 and many others that went under ten. Second day was a little slow, posted 10.5, 10.9, 11.1 the rest were under ten. Third day I did better then the second. 11.2, 10.9, 10.11, 10.5 and of course a host of nines and less. Anything under 10 we didnt even waste our time or film. Wish I could say that around here.

The water is down about 5 feet. There is shade in the lake now. Before they only had talapia now theres shade which makes things a little harder than before. The talapia stay close to shore so pitching jigs and worms to the shore made it easy to catch fish. Now the shade adds a whole new angle. The shade run deeper so you have to fish deeper. You know how it is out here on the west coast, when the shade is up the bite gets tough unless you know how to fool those shade bitters.
