I've been sitting in my chair doing a lot of work lately on the swimbait review section of the site. It's been way more work than I thought it would be, but I am happy to say I've basically completed the hardbait review section. I still have a long ways to go on the softbaits, but I'll keep plugging away at it.
My goal is to create a place where you can see pictures of all of the baits along with links to information and where to buy them. Please keep in mind that these are all pics of my personal baits, and some of the baits shown I don't own any more so I can't get the pics from all angles. I'm doing the best I can with what I have, and if any of the guys who make the baits wish that their bait had better pics, you can by all means send me an email to rob@calfishing.com and we can work something out.

Sure, that is the dark trout color. Now keep in mind, Mike likes to make each batch of plugs a little bit unique, whether that means slightly different colors or shapes or dots or whatever it may be.
The lastest batch of plugs that he is working on has a different joint system that is going to be pretty interesting. I guess that's the nature of a hand crafted bait :)
If you look in the swimbait section on , they have the dark trout. It might not look exactly like the one you have in the picture there (that pic is actually one of Nico's 12" baits) but it will be close.

Rob that is an awesome article. You know I have never thanked you for the time and effort you spend on creating a website for all us bass junkies.:D Between your site and Fish Chris, I have (as others) all the great info anyone could ask for! Thanks again for sharing all your wonderful insight with everyone!
