I dont think I have ever heard of any body catching a fish on one except that Japanese dude while bed fishing. Have any of you guys ever used one and caught anything?
Just curious

To clarify, are you talking about the Optimum bait with the big twin tails or does Osprey have something also? I'm pretty sure the Japan record was reported on a 4" Optimum Heavy Cover Double Spin

That Japan fish looked like it was "snagged" off a bed. You can see the hook marls on the side and bloodyness in some of the pics I have seen.

Osprey does make a swallow tail bait and I spoke with some pro staff guys for Osprey. They didn't really have too much to say about the bait. Sounded like they weren't into it much.

The twin tail things seemed kind of like novelty to me, like I'm not sure really what you would do with them. The Japan record fish did have a lot of what looked like sores to me on it's side. It was probably just a real old fish.
