#6749, "worms like those from bill murphys book?"

ive looked everywhere and cant seem to find the type of worms bill murphy says to use in his book. i know lunker city makes muscle worms but there is no medium size worm. the six inch is small and the nine inch is huge. ive searched countless sites that make soft plastics and they all either have the right colors and no size selection or right sizes and not enough colors. does anybody know where to find the plastic worms that work well with the techniques described in the book?

I lurk this website frequently and read all the trophy Bass talk. I notice a lot of discussions on swimbaits and not much about "stitching". Are there still hard core stitchers out there? I'm from Wisconsin and I enjoy the Big Bass conversations.

I remember reading once that he used worms made by Delong, I'm not sure if they are still in business.

ive looked into the delong worms. they are still in business but they seem to only make mainly prerigged worms and a 16" snake worm. the book also said something about burke worms but i cant find anything about them.

I believe Delong made the very first Otay Special. 12" and dark brown with a black vein.

I still stitch on occasion. It works well at Lake Sonoma.
