Many of you have followed the discussion and read the articles on Terry Battisti's weight calculation model for trophy bass. Now, for the first time, the article is being published in its entirety on calfishing.com including an online calculator to calculate the weight of bass over 16lbs. Wow, that is a really heavy article. Man, I gotta re-read that thing a few times to really absorb that information.

Well, I just did the calculator to check the estimated weight on a fish I caught recently. The fish weighed 14 lb 8 oz, and the empirical model estimated it at 15.97. I know it said it was for fish over 16 but I wanted to see anyway. I wonder if the under 14 would work better, I imagine it would.
