I'll be there before 10PM friday night,when will ya'll be there?

I am off of work that day so I will hopefully be there in the late morning/early afternoon.

Weather forecast is looking somewhat better today. High pressure over the 4 corners by tomorrow, hopefully that will hold off the storms.

Well that all depends. There's a boat in Newport I'm trying to arrange to look at/lay down a deposit on. If I can arrange if for tomorrow, I'll be at Naci probably late morning, early afternoon, if it doesn't work out for tomorrow, I may have to leave my house early Friday morning, drive to Newport, look at the boat, drive back to SB, take a rest, and then drive up to Naci. The guy selling the boat says he's got some folks lookin at it over the weekend and he's pretty sure it won't make it through the weekend, so I've gotta jump on it. If I do Friday's plan, and I leave at 5 AM, I'll be down there by 8, look at the boat for an hour, be back here by noon, eat lunch, kick back, leave at 3 or 4, be up at naci by whenever, probably not too late. 8ish or so. So that'll actually work out. I can handle long drives pretty well, I drove to LA at 3 in the morning one time with 3 hours of sleep, and didn't kill myself, so this should be no problem. We'll see, hopefully I'll be able to go down there tomorrow.

Speakin' of driving, try Lake Powell Utah to Santa Barbara, leaving at 5pm and getting into SB at 8am. Or how about fishing 4 days of Pro/Am at Clear Lake and Lake Shasta and driving back to San Luis after the last day of the tourney. Those were some hurt drives.
My favorite story was from the Clear lake pro/am, I was driving home on 41 at like 11pm and I had to go in a bad way. The road was straight for about 10 miles and there was no one in front of me and no one behind. It was a great feeling standing making that river in the middle of highway 41 that night!

It's a Newport dory on the sport boats for sale board on allcoast. Check it. I looked around and it's pretty solid. The guy selling it has ran it to Catalina a couple times from Newport. We're gonna stick a center console on it (if there's foam under the deck it'll be a little tricky, so we'll see), and do some other stuff. I guess those Newports are 'like bathtubs, you ain't gonna sink em', so I'm not too concerned with weight. For the price that guy wants too, it's right in there. We'll see what goes down.

I'm goin to Newport tomorrow, so I'll be at Naci as early as I want. Probably around noon since Josh will have the key to the trailer. Maybe I'll get a little prefishin in...

I've also got the day off and hope to be there between noon and 2pm. Which means I'll probably get there around 4. ;o)

I have Friday off so I should be leaving some time around 10AM. I need to get down there and make sure my boat is set up correctly or I will be rowing in circles on Saturday. (GRIN)
