We had a very nice day on this all day charter. The weather was a question mark prior to departure. However the ocean cooperated very nicely and we made it out to Santa Rosa. We had a few casualties on the way, however must were able to re-group and fish hard.
The Reds bit very well. They were eating the live bait and shrimp fly very good. As the morning progressed the bigger models started to thin out. We had limits of reds and rockfish by 11 AM. We spent a little time in the shallows catching some nice Whitefish. The big swell made this unpleasant and we wrapped up a nice day of fishing.
This trip we welcomed a few newcomers to our group. Jermaine, Vincent and Dave we thank you for your excellent fishing skills and hope to see you again. Big Mark put away his beloved irons and fished a little bait today. Randy won his firts ever jackpot a nice approx. 7 pound grouper.
