Hey Okie, Nice sandie & bugs! Is it illegal to take bugs after dark? I thought so, but please clarify! Was that at the Redondo "WALL" AKA Rocky Point or just near the break-wall? For the bugs, did you use mackeral for bait or chicken or? Thanks for a response.

Dan, The last day is tomarrow 3-17-04. Closed Thurs. 3-18-04 through Oct. 1st. Then opens Sat. 10-2-04. Another trick is to have a small container of mussels tied to your hoop-net with poked holes for venting the scent. Fresh mackeral is fine with this addition. I never tried "ripe" macks.
