I'm going to be going out on Saturday but have no idea where I should head (in the delta). Any suggestions?

Lost Ile is a island in the Delta that you can only get to by boat. It's a Party place that has food, outside bar and lots of weekly events like wet tee shirt contest, body painting, banana eating contest, bikii volleyball, etc. ect. It's a fun place. I may be going there on Monday.

Definitely call me if I'm not out of your way. I'll split your gas bill! I've got a spot we can try where another rock wall is in place.(at least on the map) It should keep out the Memorial day crowds.

Chris are you refering to the Old River barrier? If so be sure to bring your frogies... When I first laid eyes on this water in the Old River. I had thought I had found the land of OZ. Totally good looking chesse'e frog mats.
I'm thinking on doing the same this weekend. "Getting lost in the Delta". JC

It all sounds good to me.... Just tell me what day, what time and where the access is! I'm good for at least one day.

I was planing on hitting Calero this Sat morning. Heard some good reports as long as you fish early or late and out of the reach of those pesky jet skiers. I heard that they now have a 40 boat limit on the weekends? So if 40 fisherman got to the gate in the morning they would not let any jet skiers in for the whole day. Last time I fished Calero was with John and his ranger. Also can you still park off Baley road ?

Yup. Always lookin' for a new spot! :-) Come on out and join us on Saturday. Hopefully it's deep enough to hold some gooduns and the rock wall is high enough to keep the riff-raff... I mean jet skiers & water skiers out. The tide will be high so we may have a good topwater bite!! Hello mr froggie. Also gotta finally get me a fish on dat dern buzz saw.
