I see a lot of folks getting confused about the captions on the photos. Frankly, it's confusing!

The simplest way to edit the captions on your photos is as follows:

1. Go to the gallery where you want to edit the photos

2. On the left hand side, click on "Edit Captions"

3. Edit the Title of the photos. The title is what shows up in bold and it's what shows up on the home page of the site. Do not edit the description unless you really want to say a lot about the photo. You will be able to edit the captions for 9 photos at a time.

4. Either click on the "Save & Done" button at the bottom of the page or click on the "Save & Edit Next 9" button.

This method is much more convenient than editing the caption of your photos one at a time, give it a try if you have a gallery.
