Perris is definitely a bad weather lake. In years past with guys were nailing a lot of big fish it seemed to almost always be in February and during bad weather. The last two years have apparently been a little slow for the big fish from what I gather. Maybe they are getting tired of seeing the big trouts all day long, I dunno. I'm sure there are plenty of toads still in there.
