Kept meaning to post a report but kept forgetting. I went and tubed the back ponds at Shadow Cliffs last week after work. Water was much clearer than I was expecting. 10+ feet in places. Couldn't get anything going while the sun was out. Missed one on a 5" big hammer and that was all. As soon as it got shady, the topwater started up and was decent for about 45 minutes. Caught 5 on a rio rico and missed several others. No real size to them, best fish was about 2lbs but it was fun. The middle pond kind of reminds me of Santa Margarita on the weedy side.
