Musky Man, the master of all species! What's up buddy? The Phenix PX-1 in the 65SRM or 65SRL would be a great choice for drop-shotting with a spinning set-up. I agree with these other guys that the Loomis 782 is perfect as well. FYI: Got a call from Danny Kadota yesterday, and he said that the G.Loomis drop-shot model rods will be on the way soon. I haven't seen the prototypes, so I have no idea how they will be. By the conversation we had, it seems to me that maybe these rods will be a little lighter in action than the 782. Most guys are opting for rods with more backbone rather than the buggy whip rods that were popular the last couple of years.
