#10030, "Power plant Oxnard 6-15-03"

Location: Oxnard

Bait:lug worms,bass pro shop 1" grubs motoroil/redflake,big hammers 1 3/4 " grubs same color, new color used clear/red flake 1 1/2" grubs.

Tackle: Ugly stick light rod and daiwa reels.

Water color: dirty brown

Weather: sunny and small wind.

Scent: Baitmate (minniow)

Summary: Fishing was slow than normal trips. Had to used scent more with the grubs. To really get a solid strike. I can say that I have new color to use now. Clear and Red Flake come on it BB house of pain.
That color came into play in a big way. Motor and Red flake not today for numbers. More colors too play with and scents to match. Sandcrabs were in the stomach of my fish. Hope that help any of you people in your fishing trips. Lastly test 6lb line of Maxima with 4lb cheap light.
