The first rod i wrapped and only SO FAR, which i finished on Saturday by the way, was an allstar. Overall, it is lighter weight then most rods that I own, OR could buy for the same price range in the store. I paid about $50 to make the whole thing including the guides, $10 bottle of finish, and everything. Pete sure hooked me up! Anyways, I really like it and fished it on sunday at Pismo pier and I tell ya what, it transmits the bite sooo well. The way it looks with metallic blue wraps, the lightweight of it, the great action, and am pleased overall. I have seen some of the factory rods, and think they are not bad either. I for one do not have $200+ to spend on a rod. I'd say get one and try it out!

Till Later,
Joel
To fish, or not to fish, what a stupid question!!
