Need to get in the tube from the boat! That would be a blast. Dorado are so fun. Did you guys throw plastics at all? Last year when we were finding them around the patties in Ensenada with lock jaw on the bait they would open up for plastics. 5 or 6 inch Big Hammers in the Black Back/Purple Stripe/Dark Clear Sparkle Belly was the hot color. Next time you run into a situation where the bait's too big and the dodos are too small try throwing some plastic. It worked great last year and it's much more fun. Watch the jumps though - they can shake that leadhead no problem!
