#1 Tidelands is at the end of the Coronado Bridge. Take the 5 south and cross the bridge. 1rst possible right, turn right again to go into the park. There's a cool skatepark, lots grass, batthrooms, and decent sized beach. Lot's of moored boats, and of course the bridge to fish. Mostly smaller fish, but it's a calm areas as far as boat traffic. Go to Shelter Island if you want bigger fish, but more boat wakes.

#2 The X-51 doesn't even compare to the FB. I had one in the past, let's just say it didn't like lots of saltwater in it. Not very good resolution either. The 51, now that's at the other end of the spectrum. 240 vert pixels, waterproof, and lots of menu options. But, it's not a portable, and they run about $200. If you want a cheaper one, they make the Fisheasy II, same screen, just less features in the menu, $140ish.
