Now this is funny. It's also a perfect example of how things just get all distorted in the world of fishing.
Not long ago I had that day at San Pablo where I caught some nice fish. Here are the weights and where I caught them, as I reported it to the nice people at the marina.
9-8 - Scow Canyon - Big Hammer Swimbait 8-14 - Scow Canyon - Big Hammer Swimbait 8-12 - Main Lake - White Assalt Jig 7-5 - Scow Canyon - Chartreuse Assalt grub
So I get my WON paper (a week late ... but that's the way the mail comes at my apartments) and I read the following:
"Rob Belloni of Fremont landed a 9 1/2 pounder, 2 that weighed 8 1/2 pounds, and a 7 pound 14 ouncer"
Not bad, not bad... But the whopper of the week column is just epic.
