The meeting to discuss the future of San Pablo Dam will be held tonight at the Olinda Schoolhouse in El Sobrante at 7pm. The address is:

You can use www.mapquest.com to get a map. I don't know what building exactly it will be in at the school but I'm guessing it won't be too hard to find.

I spoke with the Community Affairs person for EBMUD today. She said that the format of the meeting will include a short introduction at the beginning to discuss the overall situation. After that they will have 4 stations where experts will be available to discuss issues regarding the dam with the public (eg saftey experts, water managers, and recreation managers). She said she expects the meeting to go 2 hours or more. It sounds like it will be a pretty open discussion and she also reminded that there will be sign ups so that you can get more info and be involved in further disucssions via an email mailing list.
