Sunday I went WAY up Middle River. I launched on Stark Road near the Howard bridge (approximately w miles south of the Tracy bridge). I launched at the end of low tide and floated south with the incoming tide throwing a blade 75% of the time, and a jig 25% of the time. I caught two fish around 9:30 on the blade. Since it was so slow, I fished my way back at high tide and didn't wait for the outgoing tide to really start moving.

Has anybody ever fished that area before?
