The morning half day run had 16 anglers catching 92 Rockfish, 68 Reds and 1 Ling.

The afternoon trip was the second annual Santa Maria Police Activities League trip. 24 kids were out on the afternoon half day. Many of them had not been fishing in the ocean before. The weather was very nice. The fishing was very good. The rockfish and reds were biting full speed. They added 5 lings with the largest being about 8 pounds. Jason and the crew were out on deck with the kids and local police officers and were a tremendous help. Luke got to cook 30 cheeseburgers and he did a stellar job as usual. The Stardust is a great boat to take a large group of kids out fishing.
