Hoping Rob will read this, I'm always looking for new fishing buddies, and at my age and location (21 in West LA, I can count the number of peer fisherman I know on half a hand) it's hard to find a fishing partner who will share a boat, or just some good company. Would it be possible to set up a forum section for "Going Fishing" and members can post if they are looking for a trip, or going on a trip and need someone to pay for boat gas? I for one would really appreciate it, plus I always bring beer!

Let me think about it. It's not a bad idea but I try not to spread the boards around too thin. If you're looking for some fishing buddies, by all means post in the freshwater or saltwater boards for now.

Don't know where you fish but I'm always down to share a boat with an experienced angler. I'm only 15 but I'll pay for gas or food or whatever else. I live in the IE so give me a shout if you ever fish Perris or Pudd.

I think there's plenty of us non-boat owning folk looking for a buddy with a boat. I hope to get one soon. But first, I need a big SUV to tow it... lol. So, there's two goals on my list... And that makes 3 of us in this forum that would pay gas to fish with someone... lol.

I hear ya ,I fish on the central coast and my nearest fishing buddy is in san diego,anyone near santa maria or pismo beach need a partner hit me up, I have a boat and vehicle ,just need to learn how to tow it better ,my reverse skills suck..420 friendly even better!! i fish lopez ,casitas ,cachuma, etc.. anywere with water that looks promising!

swimbaitking, where exactly is pismo beach... (obviously not near me if I'm asking, lol) you've got 3 people on this topic asking for a fishing buddy with a boat, and i'm one of them, lol. (if you don't mind fishing with a chick)
