I honest to goodness thought that 12lbs would win this tournament for two days. The fact that people got up in to the 13-14lb range is amazing - honestly. Fishing at Naci is that bad right now. Congrats to Mike Tuck on the win, whoever won this one deserved the heck out of it.

Tuff fishing is an under statement...Checkout some of those 5 fish limit wieghts. The 13" rule was changed to 12" just for this tournament.

Now a bunch of these guys get a whole different kind of fishing....They went to Clear Lake for the FLW Series.

No crap they changed the limit to 12" ?!!

I was seriously in awe of how many of those guys got limits. But that explains it. 12 inchers are easy there. 13's are TOUGH. Too funny...

Now that looks more like the Naci I had been practicing on. 5lbs for second place!!!!!!!!!! Wow.

I had no confidence so I bailed on the tournament. A lot of guys are counting their blessings that they caught a fish today to stay in the points for the rest of the season. Whew...

I knew of two of those teams that were on fish earlier in the week...but they blanked! Damon Meeks is a good stick on that lake and I can not believe how tuff it was for them...I was going to fish it with Tony C. but he told me yesterday that he was fishing with this other guy....lucky me, I hate giving my money away...and the pattern that I had probably wouldn't of produced either considering those wieghts.

I am kind of surprised at the turn out, they usually have at least 50+ on the opener....the word has really got out about how bad the fishing is there right now.

Margarita here I come :-)

I would have been spooning out deep all day today. It was windy but spoons sink fast. I feel so bad for the guys who fished today, that could not have been fun. The fact that one team caught 12lbs is mind blowing.

The won results are just plain ugly. And how do you get these results?

9. Jack Preston-Gary Watts 5/5 3.01 3.54 $60

5 fish for 3.54 with a 3.01 big fish?
