#17692, "Need a 14' Trailer"

Alright guys, I'm reaching out. After weeks of craigslisting with dead ends and no shows, I am still in need of a trailer. I have a 14' Valco, and just need some wheels for it. If anyone has any info on one, or where I might go to get one, I would much appreciate it. Thanks guys!!

If you can not find a used one there is always the possibility of buying a new trailer. The cheapest option is one of the boat trailers from Harbor Freight. You have to put it together but it is very simple to do. I have built/owned two of there boat trailers and currently use one of their utility trailers, there cheap but functional.

My first boat was a flat bottom 14' jon boat. I bought it with no trailer and kept it beached at the lake. Mike Shaw (MS Slammer) actually made me a trailer. He bought the axle kit at Wal-Mart or something like that and welded it up. Don't know how that would compare price wise but if you knew a good welder who could help you it might be worth considering. I did have a lot of trouble registering it with the DMV. They couldn't fathom the concept that someone had made it :)
