Went to Stockton with Nico this evening for the check in and the pairings for the marshalls. Had a nice chat in line with Lonnie Woodlief, great delta angler. Picked up the shwag bag.

They are actually going to enforce the "hooked inside the mouth" rule again. Steve Kennedy was probably having nightmare flashbacks to Clear Lake and all those giant hudd fish he had to throw back.

The whole deal was very professional. Really a notch above what I've seen at any west coast pro/am tourney. After the run down they opened the partition on the conference rooms at the hotels to reveal all of these unruly anglers in brightly colored shirts (those are the pros). It was totally cool to see all the biggest names in bass fishing.

I drew boat #2 with Dave Wolak. Nico drew boat #48 with Wade Grooms. We ate some food then went to Bass Pro to spend our $25 gift certificates. Nico won the money spending prize, dropping 4 bills.

Blast off tomorrow, 6:20am. Day 1. Should be a lot of fun. I'm going to predict that 91.22 will win the tourney, and it will take 27.10 to make the top 50 cut after 2 days.
