For the final day of the Elite Series

Wowie, John Crews by 1oz over Skeet. That was good stuff. Not to mention the parade of legends in the top 12. Can't wait to see the show on the Bass Insider website when it's done.

One thing that blew me away was the guy (and I honestly forget who it was) who said he was going in and out of docks all day fishing spinnerbaits under walkways and his marshall had to, "Push him off the docks." They were very explicit during the marshall meeting that the marshall couldn't help the pro to hold the boat or anything like that. I was just astounded that he said that on the weigh-in stage. Seems likely that he will get DQ'd.

I think his last name was Wilks, that surprised me too when he said that. I saw his boat the week before last going north on I-5 when I was out there working.

What do you guys think about the Bassmaster guys talking about the classic at the delta in a few years? Was it just talk or do you think they were hinting??

that was my first thoght as well when I heard Dustin say that. They were very clear about Marshals not able to do that.
