Hey Rob, I hate to tell ya but, "THEY'RE BACK!!!!" Those dreaded Flying Lures. Just saw an update in the new Bassmaster tackle guide. Guess it's time to update the "Barni Zone". If you can stomach it, you can see them at www.flyinglures.com Hope everyone had a great TurkeyDay!!

YES!!!! - I must make Jamon aware of this exciting development.

I can't tell you how many emails I get from people looking for flying lures. Now there is an answer :-)

I swear, if I can get some of those damn things without having to pay for them, I'm going to catch a fish on one just for the pure humor of it all.

You may not know this, but the first and only bass I ever caught on the flying lure was also the first keeper size largemouth bass I ever caught in my entire life. Must have been about 13 years old at Lake Cachuma, fishing from a rental boat in 40 feet of water, I foul hooked a 13 inch bass on a flying lure right up where the sun don't shine. It fought like crazy too, although I would expect as much based on where I hooked it. ROFLMAO!!!

You can have the 1 I found, but you have to post the pic and put it in the pic's area. I'll give it to you at Coyote next weekend.

Tight lines,

You may laugh at those lures, but every bait has it's place. I live and fish Lake Mission Viejo.....Home of the "aquarium" style spawning "TOAD" Bass. The lake has tons of private docks and the only way to get those huge "smart" fish, is to get the bait "under" the dock where it is more threatening. If your lure falls on the edge, they won't even look at it....food for thought
