I was writing a report about my trip to Anderson today and timed out. What can I do to avoid this? I know I'm a slow typer, but not THAT slow I thought.

What I normally do when that happens is when I go to post the computer tries to reconnect to the server and dumps me back on my home page, then I hit BACK and it usually pops back up. There is probably also a setting on your computer you can lengthen so you don't dissconnect so quickly, not shure where it would be though.

Wade, For some reason, the default session length was set to 30 minutes for the forum. This is probably desgined to save resources on the server, since every person who has a window up uses some server resources. But to heck with it :) I set it to 600 minutes which should be plenty of time. Thanks for pointing this out, and yes, usually you can go back to your message, click "re-post from data" or whatever your browser prompts you with, then take your message, highlight it all, copy it, and paste it into notepad or word or whatever.
