Finally got a chance to sneak away and get in on some of the recent halibut action. Me and my daughter Sara got 5 halibut with one legal at about 24 inches. The fish were caught on Sea Wolf and Silverside colored 3 inch swimbaits. Brian "Wookie" joined us and got 3 halibut with 2 legals (big one pushing 27 inches).

Hey Rob, it's good to be back. How are you and yours? Are you still up in NorCal?

You'll be seeing me around here a bit more. I'm backing away from the kayak scene for a while. Things have gotten very money/competition oriented, but not necessarily in a good way. Lately I've been surf fishing, and I'm going to start surfboard fishing soon. Time to have fun again.
