PERRIS: The trout bite has been spotty with no plants in two weeks and none slated for this week. The action on bigger bass, however, has been pretty decent for anglers hurling the big trout-like bait. Jerry Rago, Independence, and Greg Vella, Japan, caught bass at 14-1, 12-4, 11-8, 10-8, 10-2, and 9-12, all at Rock Climbers on trout-like plugs and swim baits.

Maybe 100 bucks for the generic trout ain't such a bad deal! That limit would go 58-13 by my calculation. WOO SON! Perris is a bad weather bite and the bad weather is here by the sound of it.

Doh!!! Wish i wasn't working, or else I would be at Perris myself chunking the big lures. Sounds like the big mommas are getting hungry.

Hey, Greg's in town. I think he's staying at Eric's house. Dang, now I'm gonna have to get to castaic and perris in the next couple weeks. Maybe I should add another $20 to the money I was gonna spend on the castaic smallmouth, and buy a generic trout... hmmm, decisions decisions.
