I picked this thing up on E-Bay. Not sure what to do with it? Anyone ever fished one?

This thing is a beast! I put it next to a 9" Slammer for a comparison. It weighs in at an even 5 oz. I'm gonna have to play with the hook setup a bit. All it has is a rubber tube inserted inside that you run the line through. You put it in the nose and out the bottom. It came with a size 1 treble on a swivel. That's not gonna cut it. I might try to run some seven strand wire through there and attach a swivel to the top half with a little slack to help keep from tearing the bait on the hookup. Oh...there will be a hookup, eventually }(

Dude, I got some of those a few yrs. ago. They are friggin gigantic. I tried chucking it around some, but it's so big and heavy that it doesn't stay on top very good. You have to keep working it really hard to make it move and stay up. I still have them around somewhere, but I didn't think it was all that great. Maybe if it was 2/3 the size or floated or something.

That's cool...I only paid the guy $5 + shipping, so it's no big loss. I think maybe I'll 'disect' it!

Maybe I could hollow out the body, lay a piece of heat resistant plastic across the bottom and then repour some plastic over it? The things so big, I could cut a hole in it and put a bobber in there to help it float! :P

Dane, thanks for the info. The closest hobby shop is about 1 1/2 hrs away, but if I go that way I'll check it out. Really thanks for the compliment!! I hope to get the rest of my baits and colors up soon. It's a lot of work!
