#13299, "San Pablo tomorrow (Friday)? Back seat open..."

I'm taking the Four Winns out tomorrow (Friday, til they kick me off), and it looks like San Pablo's where I want to go. Anybody wanna join me? I plan to leave my house in south SJ at around 8-8:30 a.m. or so. I guess that means I get to the lake at 10-something?

I probably won't be able to get on-line again tonight, so you'll have to call me at home -- 408-224-9113. First come, first served!

I guess the trout plugs are the ticket, Rob? Guess I'll have to look around to get some reports.

See you in the a.m.?

Hey Jeff,

Basically, the bite has been really bad, but the quality has been really really good. There were a lot of good sticks fishing this weekend and of the 10 guys who I heard reports from over the 4 days of the weekend, there were only 13 bass caught. For the amount of talent that was fishing, that's terrible abysmal fishing especially after the lake has been closed for 4 months and several of those guys fished multiple days!!!

The thing was that 5 of those fish were over 10. I stuck a 12-11, a 10-4, and a 2lber for 3 days of fishing. Big one on a jig and the other two on big hammers. There was also a 13.5 on the Slammer.

I predict if you get one bite, it's 50/50 it's over 10lbs. I also predict that it's 60 to 70% odds that you get outright skunked. That's the straight scoop. I tell it like it is.

Alright, Rob, 'preciate the info! I'll definitely be throwing some *jigs* out there tomorrow -- awesome fish there, bud!

Well, I've been skunked at Pinto and Coyote already this week; I think I can handle another 'rough day' on the water! I'll certainly not be expecting to be hauling 'em in left & right, but you never know now, do you?!!

Hmmm... now, where have I stashed all my **5" swimbaits**????? :D

I'll let y'all know how it went out there!
