Well here is the skinny on kickboating san pablo.... If you are rowing you can go anywhere on the lake.If you put your feet in the water you have to be by the boat launch area. This means if you row across the lake you can't put your feet in the water, even to kick and position yourself.I think this is b.s.!Bro I will call you tonite or sat. so we can decide on another place.Maybe shadow cliffs or del valle? It just seems there are people out there who dont understand what we do.I sure wish santa clara co. and the e.b.r.d.(east ba regional parks district)would kindly remove their heads from a curtain dark hole! I geuss san pablo is out for me! Later,Swampy

This really bites! I'll give you a call later tonite or tomorrow. I'm going over to Rich's later tonight to watch ultimate fighting so I won't be around after about 6:30 - 6:45.

The reason they don't want your feet in the water is because San Pablo is a drinking water reservoir. And as such, I don't think they allow swimming or wading either (or 2 stroke outboards--which is another big controversy). If they do in fact have a swimming area, then the no feet reg is pretty contradictory of them...

Actualy the gal I spoke with said the feet thing is because of the boat traffic.you already must were waders if you want to tube or kickboat the lake. She said something like they didn't want my feet to get run over by a boat!(That would be tuff)and something about an insurance issue.Either way I don't think I want to waste my time with a bunch of airheads!
