#1182, "10 at Uvas (yes a bass) did you guys hear anything"

I was reading the cheezy fishing report in the Mercury News this morning and they reported a 10 caught at Uvas on a "MS Slimer" which I'm sure is their confused attempt at saying MS Slammer. Any of you guys hear anything about the fish?
Kind of reminds me of when I called the fish report for San Pablo after I caught my fish and they said I caught it on a "Miss Slammer". There's probably some awfully confused people out there.

I just read the article on the Mercury News on-line report for today (1/18). The 10'er was caught at **Coyote** Reservoir, not Uvas, from what I read. And, yes: they called it an 'MS Slimer'! Hah! What a joke. They also mentioned "drop-shodding" as a hot way to catch 'em off the points! Sounds like someone oughtta get in there & educate that reporter, and QUICK!!!
