#961, "Kayak, rod and reel, and floattube for sale"
|
I need to get myself into a tandem yak, so I'm selling off some of my fishing stuff...
Cobra "Tourer" Kayak: This thing is ready for fishing (does need a battery and a drybag to store it in) . Includes: 1 round 10" hatch and 1 "A" hatch, Sea Air Sports 16" high backed seat w/pouch and waterbottle holders, 1 piece Powerflex paddle, Lowrance X-51 fish finder (cost before tax was $230, it is awesome), Ram Tube rodholder and base plate for Tight Lock rodholder mounted between footwells, and a PVC rod holder in tankwell which will hold 4 rods plus a net and gaff. Delivery possible if you live w/in maybe 40miles of Lake Forest. $750 firm
custom wrapped Seeker Black Steel F70 w/ Progear "Pacifica 2500": Rod has Corktaped butt, Fuji reelseat, hypalon foregrip, unique buttwrap thread design, guides are all smoked chrome w/black wraps. The rod was only used twice (I can't afford offshore trips these days) but it is really sweet. Tons of backbone, but has a softRated for #40, but #30 could be comfortably used. The reel was used maybe 4 times, cleaned after each use. Casts like a dream. Both rod and reel have few nicks and scratches, but still look good and work great. Delivery may be possible. $200 firm
Trout Unlimited, "Gallatin" floattube and Scott XL swimfins: This a pontoon style tube. It's very comfortable, high riding yet stable, and has tons of storage. Has two strap on rodholders. Sorry, gotta pick this one up. $35

Decided to make the Fish Finder optional. I was planning on buying the same unit for my new tandem. So, If someone wants the yak w/out it I'll sell everything minus the FF for $625.

Reel for reel, maybe. But the retail on the Procaster-X is 1/2 what I'm asking for the whole thing. Wouldn't be a wise move on my part.

What I really want is one of the pearl Chronarchs, they are low end ones. Size doesn't matter. Find that, and I'd be very happy. The Diawa you mentioned and a Cardiff 100 or a very large pair of breathable waders would also suffice.
I live in Lake Forest, work in Newport, usually fish in San Diego.
