Bob and Chris, We all know that they're a cold blooded creature, so, it makes sense that the bite slows. However, they still eat and they still search for optimal conditions. If you can find the right combo of the best conditions in a set area you will be on fish and they will eventually eat something. This is all a given. What are the optimal conditions is another matter. I wish I had a boat with some range so I could check water temps at numerous locations and look for the right conditions. I'd put those conditions right now in the order of 1)Temp, 2)Bait, 3)Structure (this is only for finding the "spot on the spot"), 4)Water clarity, and 5)Fishing pressure. In the warmer months I think it's more like 1&2 tied)bait & structure, 3) water clarity, 4)temp, and 5)pressure. Tight lines, Wade
