Calico man, First time postin? Welcome welcome. The winter time is when the big bass bite. You'll notice the calico NUMBERS decline, but the QUALITY will typically increase. Those few bass you do catch will be good ones. I'd like to hear some input from calico hunter on the subject, if he's willing to share some info... Right on about the catch and release policy. This year I only kept fish under 13, 14" (the fish that were 12ish, 13ish, I didn't bother to measure, just tossed em). Next year however, it's gonna be my resolution to not keep any calico bass, no matter how bad the fishing is, and no matter what girl I want to have over for dinner that night... -Brian
