Fished the Zuma Beach area and life guard shack #4 north of Santa Monica Pier with Joe, Mitch, Steve and Dave. The five of us managed to catch almost 60 Barred Surf Perch with the biggest at 11 inches. Surf was big and the tide was low. Very rough and murky conditions but we did get some biters eventhough they weren't the big slabs that we were after. All fish caught on motor oil 1.75 inch Perch grubs except one Perch that Joe caught on a Yo-Zuri 4 inch Rainbow Trout hard body crank bait. We had a fun time and were back at the house by 11am.
