#12556, "Continued salmon limits at Half Moon Bay"

Trolling for salmon continues to produce limits everyday this week inshore Half Moon Bay. Details are the same as in my recent reports, so I will not repeat them here. The only difference is that last week's 8 to 19 lb salmon became 22" to 12 lb salmon this week. However, yesterday my son hooked and brought up to the side of the boat a very much bigger salmon, only to have it become unbuttoned. This was a great fight with strong runs, but the smaller salmon have been jumping more. (So far, no silvers.) Whereas other neighbors give away zucchini to neighbors, my son has been giving away salmon, making him one of the most popular guys around.
