I was inspired by your performance. Fished Corona Del Mar Jetty Thursday and Saturday used swim baits and switched to squid late Saturday. I tried a slow retrieve, fast retrieve and a few jerks. I came up empty, except for a small bass early Saturday afternoon. I fished the outgoing tide on the first third to half of the jetty on the beach side. I am desperate to catch a halibut. Even shorties. Please advise.
